Glenn T. Ford a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. Glenn departed this life September 22, 2019. He was born June 28, 1949 to Tommie L. Ford and Vivian C. Ford. He was the oldest of 9 siblings.

He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1967. He attended North Carolina A & T and fought in the Vietnam War. Glenn held many positions in his career, some included: mechanic, sales and security officer. His last position was a security manager for Sears.

Glenn liked to tinker with electronics. He was also a 32 Degree Prince Hall Mason. He was very studious and intelligent. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, loved to fish and loved fried fish. He loved to wear hats and collected handheld power tools, a jack of all trades.

Glenn is predeceased by his parents, Tommie and Vivian Ford and sister, Shelia R. Ford. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jeanette of 48 years; daughter, Alicia Ford; son, Shelvin Ford (Tanya); mother-in-law, Edna P. Holley; sister-in-law,  Louella McGill (James); brother-in-law, Sultan Shabazz (Zakiya); grandsons, Lorenzo and Bryon Ford; sisters, Gwendolyn Williams, Sondra Ford Thomas (Samuel), Wanda Boomer, Millicent Vaughn, Sharon Ford-Williams and Anita Ford; brother, Michael Ford (Deborah) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends.

    Mr. Ford – when they told me that you had gone on I was heart broken. We all had been praying and hoping that you would recover and be back at home. You fought a great fight, but now it’s time to rest, no more pain, no more worries. We have another guardian angel. Please continue to protect Mrs. Ford, and assure her that everything will be okay. You will truly be missed, but never ever forgotten. Rest in paradise. My prayers and condolences to the Ford family. I love you all and we will get through this.

    Only met you briefly was good friends with my Uncle Roc. 6yrs. Tuesday he passed away. Now y’all together again. RIP.?
