Gertrude Wadsworth- Fogg, 77 of Norfolk, Virginia was called home on Friday, June 26th to be the with her Lord and Savior. Gertrude was educated through The Norfolk Public School System, where she later became a caregiver for many years. She was a member of New Hope Congregational Christian Church. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Wadsworth Sr. and Daisy Winfield, stepfather, Harry Lee Winfield, grandmother, Bettie Williams, two sisters, Doris Jackson, and Betty Harris, two brothers, Rudolph Wadsworth Jr. and Wilbert Wadsworth, granddaughter, LaTesha Etheridge, niece, Zoeann Forrest and special friend, Harold Benton and several aunts, uncles and friends.

Gertrude leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Vanessa Wadsworth, Dollicia Sweeney, Vera Fogg, and Barbarella Fogg, two sons, Armistead Sweeney (Gail) and Edwin Fogg, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Wadsworth, two sisters-in-law, Maxine & Sallie Wadsworth, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.

    God has another angel that he has called home. Gertrude was fun, truthful and loving. She always had something to say. When I was a little girl she was something else. But her spirit is free and all the pain is over. So rest on Gertrude til I see you again.
