To my dear family: I am so saddened about the passing of Geneva. In my heart, I was hoping that she was going to be healed. Now that she has gone to be with God, she is happy as she rejoices with HIM, the angels, Aunt Lena, Uncle Pie, Tony, Nadine, Betheye, her Aunt Jelly, Peanut, and all the others that she loved so dearly who went to be with the Lord before her. It’s hard to say goodbye to the ones we love, but they live in our hearts forever. I love you ALL with all my heart. Rest in peace Geneva.

To the Powell & White family on behalf of the family of Mother Dorothy Edwards-Clarke we send our heartfelt prayers and thoughts to each of you. Barbara, myself and and many of her childhood friends from the Tabernacle Holiness Church that knew Geneva and her family will be able to hold close to our hearts very beautiful and fun memories. The things that come to mind for me were rehearsing for and attending the TYPO Conventions in NC, a trip to Luray Cavern, walking that long path to the road and back at St Luke, talking about what we wanted to do with our lives and just seeing her welcoming and beautiful smile when she greeted you. Rest well my friend.

My prayers for peace and comfort to Geneva’s family and friends. I will miss her on our 4th of July cookouts and other family events. She was a beautiful, happy, calming spirit and was always a pleasure and fun time when we were together. Just watching her over the years has been a joy. Rest well my dear cousin, I love you and will miss you.
