Gabrielle (Gabby) Leigh Kelly, 20, passed away on February 10, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on March 19, 2004, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Gabby brought light and laughter to all who knew her.

Gabby had a deep love for music and basketball, passions that shaped much of her life. Whether she was playing on the court or creating music, she poured her heart into everything she accomplished. With a keen eye for fashion, Gabby enjoyed expressing herself through her unique style. A creative spirit at heart, she found joy in building intricate Lego creations and sharing moments of laughter with family and friends.

Her kindness and generosity were evident in the way she cared for others. Gabby had a special gift for making people laugh and brightening even the darkest days. She cherished time spent with family and friends, always bringing warmth and joy to every gathering. Her love for snacks and candy was well known among those close to herโ€”simple pleasures that added to the happiness she shared with others.

Gabby is survived by her loving mother, Shanica Carter; her father, Lemuel Kelly, III; and her stepmother, Ashley Sutton. She leaves behind two brothers, Kaseim Taylor and Mahlek Marsh; her grandparents, Sheila Carter, Willie Carter, and Lemuel Kelly, II; as well as uncles, George Carter and Rusty Carter. Gabby’s kind heart and radiant spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
