Fredia May Taylor

Fredia May Taylor, born March 9, 1945 to the late Fred and Mary Louise Gray in Pitt County, North Carolina. After attending and graduating high school in Pitt County, she moved to Newburgh NY in 1963. She was gainfully employed for over 30 years and retired from Tarkett. While at Tarkett she met and married Irvin Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin Taylor, Norfolk, VA and children Alfreda White (David); Newburgh, NY, David Dowdell (Belinda), Auburn, AL, Linda Dowdell (Aaron), Norfolk, VA, George Scott (Charline) Jackson, TN and a legacy of grandchildren, Cardesia Ray (Christopher), Antonia Jackson (Terrence), Davida Dowdell, Connie  Williams (Amanda), David Dowdell, III, Kierra Moore, Tashara Moore, Antonio Jackson, Jr., Azariah Jackson and Ryan Whitted, as well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Debra Wilkins (Willie), Sandra Gray and one brother in law, Leonard Mcnair. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Ayres Gray, Deotha McNair, Zeno Gray, and Lenord Gray. Special acknowledgements to Monique Brown and Angie Rogers. She was loved by many and adored by many more.
She will be missed.
