Forrest “Doungy” Collins was born March 24, 1969 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late William Collins, Sr. and Julia Ann Collins.
He was educated in the New Jersey public school system until high school, and was always known to be a fun, loving, lighthearted man who loved life, and enjoyed a good laugh and his friends and family.
He is survived by his loving children, LaMara Green and Forrest D. Collins, II; his siblings, Wilma Haizlip and William Collins, Jr.; his former wife, Betty Collins; his beloved godmother, Merelyn Royster and a host of many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will indeed be missed in death just as much as he was loved in life.
