Floyd Mae Holley

Floyd Mae Holley 80, of Portsmouth, VA, made her transition peacefully from earth to glory on November 27th, 2023.

Born December 29, 1942 in Southampton County, VA to the late Rev. Peter Boykins Jr and Lillie Whitehead. She was the youngest of 5 children.  Floyd Mae attended Southampton County Public Schools and worked at Autumn Care Nursing Facility for a number of years.

In addition to her mother and father, she was predeceased by her three sisters and brother; Della Mae Pope, Ellen Williams, Lutelia Scott, and brother Peter W. Boykins.

Floyd Mae leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Anita Harris of Virginia Beach, VA and Mae Cofield of Suffolk, VA. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Cheri Goodman, Rashad Johnson (Monet), Jamar Johnson, Trashon Johnson, and Kimberly Goodman; six great-grandchildren, Avieona Eley, Todd Johnson, Tatiayanna Harrison, Justice Goodman, Sean Johnson, and Mya Goodman; her loving nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
