Floyd Edward Mullins, Jr. was born on October 24, 1942 to the late Floyd E. Mullins, Sr. and Lucy Totten-Richardson in Reidsville, North Carolina. Floyd graduated from Booker T. Washington High, Reidsville, North Carolina in 1961. After graduation, Floyd enlisted in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War, where he received an honorable discharge with 20 years of service to his country. After retiring, Floyd begun his second career as a supervisor with Laborers Local Union 307 at the Amoco Oil Refinery Yorktown, Virginia retiring in 2007 with twenty years of service.
Floyd joined the Westend Baptist Church under the pastorate of the Late Reverend Hallie Richardson, Sr. in Hampton, Virginia. Floyd was a member of M.W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Virginia, F. & amp; A. Masons, Inc., Eastern Star Lodge #13 and Lebanon Consistory #28, Augusta, GA. Floyd will be sadly missed. Floyd was a man of strength, honor and valor. Floyd was always a man of structure, believing life should have order.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd E. Mullins, Sr. and Lucy Totten-Richardson, and brother Frank Mullins.

Sister in Laws Barbara Duers Chesapeake, VA, Linda Leary Brooklyn, NY Kiffaney Eason (Micheal) Chesapeake, VA Crystal Jackson (Brooklyn NY) Tonja Johnson Queens, NY, Delores Chase Queens, NY, Brother in-Laws Henry Phillip, Jr Queens, NY, Ricardo Chase (Adela Mason) Queens, NY and George Chase Brooklyn, NY. Grandchildren Damien, Monika (William), Tyshaun, Sanaa, Tanisha (Arte), Etenia, Floyd IV, Carione, Saigh, and Bryant. A host of Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
