Florence gave extraordinary advice about faith, life, love and was very knowledgeable about money management. Her life’s goal was to please the Lord and to never stop thanking him for what he did for her, her family, her church and her friends.

She is survived by her 10 children: Marie Linton (Chris), June Brinkley (Wyman), Judy Spivey (Trevior), Carolyn Williams (Marvin), Yolanda Legette (Quincy) (counted as a daughter) James Williams Jr., Clayton Williams, Karen Jones (Randal), Eric Williams and Samuel Williams (Stephanie), her two sisters, Francis Turner and Jeannette Stokley and one brother John Junior Elliott. She also leaves to cherish her memory, 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Florence had a host of hobbies such as playing bingo at her senior complex, fishing, traveling around the country for church services, shopping, raising plants, and she was an avid movie watcher. She loved a good family get together and learning how to use the latest technology.

Her motto was “Keep the Faith”.

“ and the Lord shall descend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the dead in Christ shall rise—FIRST…”
This brings us all comfort because losing such an incredible woman as this, without that Hope, would be beyond repairable! A jewel among people. A woman I have been blessed to know all the days of my memory. A second mother to be honest! Words would fail to express all that she embodied in these few short years on earth but thanks be to God for her life for she was a ROCK for sure! Solid I’m her beliefs, solid for her children and just a true Soldier in the Army of the Lord! May her memories live on in her beautiful family, whom we love dearly, and may u all continued to be comforted by Gods promises for He CAN NOT LIE!! She is with God and all is well with her soul! Love u all very much— til we meet them all on that Great Day—- be blessed and strong!
    Yours truly,

The blessed Mother Williams… I too stand in one accord with the love and sincere thankfulness for her life and legacy. She has finished her course …her crown now sits upon her head….a beautiful angel of the Lord she now is…. She’s joined the heavenlies and will enjoy her rest . I am so blessed to say that she knew me , cared for me and heard her say to me … I love you. I cherish all the moments … the personal conversations we shared, the love she gave to me and my family . My life was enriched with her a part of it. The Roberts family and the Williams family….so much in common , our history forever tied together. She was a dear friend to my mom…who loved her so deeply. They entrusted their children to each other. She was like a mother to all of us. That’s 18 kids total between them . We were safe with her just as they were safe in our home. We all loved being with each other … a testimony to how amazing those two mothers were . That’s love! To the family … we stand strong for each of you …. As we cry and lament this great loss, rest assured! Your mother is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ! She is now waiting on us to get our wings! You all will be Alright ! Trust that ! She has prayed countless prayers for her family … and all those prayers were heard and will be honored . Your entire family will be covered by those prayers for as long as you live on this earth . You all remain strong in the Lord ! Stay together ! Remember the good times ! God is with you all ! He will bring a warm smile to your face…He will restore your heart and provide healing for that which seems impossible to heal . These words are true. Marie, June, Judy, Carolyn Junior, Clayton, Eric, Karen and Sam ….God bless the memory of your mother …God bless each of you … I love you! We love you ! Jonathan and family
