Felicia Ann Miller

Sunrise: January 10, 1954

Sunset: May 19, 2019

Felicia Ann Miller, devoted wife and beloved mother was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Willie J. and Pleasant V. Mitchell. Felicia, affectionately known by her family members and friends as “Lisa” transitioned to her eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 19, 2019. Lisa worked as a supervisor at Virga’s Pizza, located in the City of Portsmouth until their closing, then she became a full time housewife, while actively serving her community. She was anointed with a spirit to help and love on others, unconditionally. Lisa blessed countless of people, as she selflessly gave of her time, talents, and treasures. She was a true servant, who excelled in the ministry of Helps. If she had anything and you were in need, it was yours to have, as she freely sowed into the lives of others and required nothing in return. Lisa was a devout believer of Jesus Christ who exalted her relationship with the Lord by loving others as Christ loved her. Lisa
walked out her relationship with her Savior daily. She was a prayer warrior, as she dwelled in the presence of the Lord, daily, seeking not just for herself but for her family, friends, strangers, and lost souls.

Lisa was truly a friend of God. Like Abraham, she negotiated and God listened. She negotiated her remaining time on this earth, and the Lord allowed her to experience and enjoy many family milestones, that doctors said she would probably never see. She was a warrior, her endurance was Beautiful and Inspiring. God truly granted her beauty for her ashes. She was not only a friend of God; but, she was a loyal friend to others, loving them all just like family; uplifting all who truly knew her with that witty sense of humor that was undeniably “Lisa”. She was a true comedian, ensuring family gatherings were full of laughter. She enjoyed cooking and could almost always be found in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe or putting her spin on an “ole time” favorite recipe. She loved going to the beach to watch the sunrise, oftentimes reveling in the majesty of the moment. Her favorite go to family vacation spot was Disney World. She enjoyed spending those moments with her children and grandchildren. She was a phenomenal Mother and Nana. No mere words can truly express how much she loved her children, grandchildren, and children of her heart. Lisa was and will eternally be cherished and loved by all who were blessed “to dolife” with her. Our Beloved leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Freddie “Seahag” Miller. They were together a total of 51 years; children, Erica Langley, Eric Miller (Tawana), April Miller, Aaron Miller (Bianca), Andre Sanders, and Precious Mitchell; 17 grandchildren, Samone, Jayson, Jessica, Khalil, Asia, Rachel, Isiah, Mekhi, Raven, Chase, Zoi, Raheem, Ja’Saun,
Ke’Vanya, Joe, Dasia, and Kaiser; siblings, Irene Mills, Ernestine Cambron, Ella Rodgers (James), Debra Williams (Ronnie), Eva Mae Hicks, Lacey Mitchell, Alvin Mitchell, Sr., Terry Mitchell, and Tony Mitchell; sister-in-law, Triganza White; many wonderful and loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.

I am truly sorry for your loss, what really comforted me in my time of loss is the scripture@ Revelation 21:3&4 . Which gives us the wonderful promise of God wiping out every tear from our eyes and death being no more. I hope this promise from Jehovah will truly bring your family much comfort at this time.

Felicia was a prime example of 1Timothy 4:4 “Whatever God made is good…” and she was that, a good wife, mother, grandmother, person, and friend. I will miss you,
