Faye Rosalind Simmons peacefully transitioned into heaven on September 10, 2019 at the age of 72. She was born on May 15, 1947 to Vida Cuffee and the late Jerome Cuffee. She worked at Koni Kai Hotel as a supervisor for 6 years and then at Carebridge Assisted living where she retired from after 25 years.
Faye is predeceased by her husband, Edward Lee Simmons. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Vida E. Cuffee; two daughters, Yvette Cuffee (Roger), Tiaya Cuffee; one special son, Jeffrey Savage (Karen); one stepdaughter, Marie Wilson; one goddaughter, Velnita McCants (Jerry); one stepson, Tony Wilson (Annette); 7 grandchildren, Johnnie, Sr., Marquitta,
Uriel, Fayetta (Raymond), Loreon, Shaquita, Eliakim; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lora James (Tom), Marsha James (Bernard); one brother, George Cuffee, Sr. (Julie); one uncle, William Cuffee; two aunts, Essie Mae Boone and Thelma Hincher. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives that loved her dearly and one special friend, Mrs. Patricia Talley.
