My mother and I wish to express our sincerest condolences to family and friends of Evelyn Vera Williams. We have found that the Bible provides the best of comfort at such a time as this. We encourage you to consider reading some of our favorite scriptures that has provided us with much relief and hope. 1Corinthians 15:26, Isaiah 25:8 & Revelation 21:3, 4. At Revelation 21:4 it mentions “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” His promise here refers to tears caused by suffering & sorrow. He won’t merely dry off such tears; he will wipe them out completely by removing the causes of unwanted tears – suffering & sorrow. “Death will be no more,” a major cause of unwanted tears. Jehovah can and will release humans from the sting of death by eliminating the real cause of death: sin inherited from our first parent Adam. (Romans 5:12) These promises are soon to become a reality and are certainly true because at Joshua 23:14 Jehovah is described as the One who becomes the Fulfiller of all that he promises. Revelation 21:5 says, Also he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Lastly, God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Jehovah is trustworthy. We hope you find the same comfort in the scriptures as we have because Jehovah, the God of comfort can console family and friends during this time of sorrow. (2Corinthians 1:3, 4) Please feel free to contact us via our email address for more soothing and reassuring information regarding God’s promises that offer a real and refreshing hope for the very near future. Our most heartfelt regards, Joyce & Stacy Howard.
