Eunice Wilamena Hall affectionately known as “Mama Hall” was born on May 4, 1923 to the late Walter and Pearl Copeland. In His infinite wisdom, God our Father, stretched out His hand and called His beautiful angel home to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Walter Jr. and Lawrence. She was married to the late Alfred Hall.
Eunice was raised in the Lambert’s Point area of Norfolk. She completed her high school expectations at John Jasper Smallwood School now known as Mills Godwin Life Sciences Building located on the Campus of Old Dominion University. She spent a number of years employed in the nursing field.
As a child, she attended First Baptist Church, Lambert’s Point, where she began her journey with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a pillar in her community. She was an avid lover of baseball. She loved her church family and dedicated her life to serving God. Her family was always important to her and she loved to be around her nieces and nephews. Eunice gave the best advice and you could always depend on her for infinite wisdom. She lived a wonderful ninety-nine years of life and her spirit and smile was a bright light to all that knew her. She spent her latter years before death at Pelican Health in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Eunice Hall will be greatly missed and cherished by her brother Mr. Clyde W. Copeland, Sr., her nieces and nephews, their children and a host of other relatives, and friends.
There will be an intimate graveside service at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 30th at Calvary Cemetery in Norfolk. The family will not be receiving guests afterwards. Thank you in advance for your condolences, loving thoughts and prayers.
