Eugene D. Miller, known lovingly as Redd, was born to Julius Price and the late Pearlie Jane Miller on December 7, 1955. Eugene was raised in the Berkley section of Norfolk, VA. On July 15, 2020, Eugene left his earthly body to join his mother and other family members. Eugene was educated through Norfolk Public Schools. In his early years, he worked for Norfolk Coffee Company and the shipyard. Prior to owning and operating Redd’s Trucking Co., he earned his welding certification and worked for Precon and E.V. Williams trucking companies. While Eugene was a quiet man, he enjoyed grilling with his family and friends. He watched cartoons, too. Also, he liked to travel to Georgia.
Eugene is predeceased by his mother, Pearlie Jane Miller; his aunts Dorothy James and Gracie Lewis; his brother Trent De Munn, spiritual daughter, Kristie Gibson and several uncles. Eugene leaves to cherish his memory, his children Franchesska Scott, Shannon Scott, Eugene Miles, Darryl Scott (Andrienne Collier), two stepchildren Carmen Bilal and Wali Bilal and two special loves, Deborah Scott and Robin Bilal. Also remaining to cherish his memory is his 15 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, multiple siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

July 25, 2020 at 2:58 pmHeartfelt Condolences to Family. Rest in Heaven & In Peace. Redd I’m gonna miss your calls and especially the calls on my birthday to tell me that I’ve caught up with you and Diane. When I would come home to visit, you would come and hangout. When we were leaving, you would come to see us off and get your hug and tell us be safe. Gone but never will be forgotten. Love Duck
