It was Saturday, April 17, 2021 that God called home one of His special angels, our loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Relative and Friend, Ethel Delyla Foy.
She was born on Saturday, April 30, 1966 to the late Willie and Ethel Scott. She attended Norfolk Public Schools afterwards she went on to become a certified nursing assistant for 25 years. She had a real passion for taking care of others. She was a member of Good News Family Worship Center where she lovingly and faithfully served as an Usher Team Leader and Armor bearer to the First Lady.
Besides her mother and father, she was also predeceased by her brother, Anthony Scott. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory, her husband Anthony A. Foy; daughter, Kernishia D. Scott; two sons, Donell L. Scott (Quisha) and Anthony M. Foy; six grandchildren, Asia, Donell, D’Marion, Ke’yanna, Keyron and Keyontae; sister, Sandra D. Wiggins; two brothers, Christopher Scott and Willie D. Scott; mother and father-in-law, Irene and George Foy; two special friends, Karen Holloway and Raven Griffin and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

    We were so sorry to hear of the passing of our loved one that we called Little Ethel. She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be greatly missed by all. May you find comfort in knowing that she is absent in the body but present with the Lord. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

    Words can’t Express the sorrow l feel in the lost of Ethel, she was like a daughter to me, l will miss seeing her smiling face and pleasing personality. I will miss looking back behind me in church, and seeing her praising God. You will be truly missed, rest in peace in our father arms, love you. Miss Frankie.
