    I pray GOD keeps HIS arms around each of you, as you go through this difficult time. Please be comforted, knowing we will see Essie again, and she is free from suffering. Let the good memories bring you smiles, even though her passing brings tears. God bless you, Bobette, Bobby, Candy, Janiah,Gabby and all of the family and friends.

    To the family of Chaplain Essie Scarboro, my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. Essie was certainly a special person. I will always remember her powerful ministry of pastoral care as a chaplain with the Sentara hospitals. Essie was such a blessing to many, many people–patients, families and staff — during their times of illness, loss, and need for encouragement. And, she was my best “wing woman” in ministry. I will miss her deeply, but, I know on February 3, 2020 she answered another calling–the one from the Lord to come home. May she be at peace.

    I remember Ms.Essie & her family from Revelation Tabernacle. She was a sweet woman that was soft spoken and about her own bussniess. Always had a kind word, and a hug for all those she encountered. I pray that her family finds peace in knowing she’s resting in a better place. Her work here on earth is done. She is loved by many, and will be greatly missed!

    Sorry to hear that Essie has passed on, Bobby and the Girls I will be keeping you all in Prayer. I remember like it was yesterday when we lived in the same apartment building. Rest in Paradise Essie.

    To Scarboro & girls, I struggled all week to find the words to send. My heart goes out to you. When Essie would come into the office, she always had a kind word and pleasant conversation. May God keep his arms around you and keep you in his care. Keep memories close for days ahead. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
