Emma Lee Kearney Askew, Resident of Norfolk, Virginia, formerly of Warrenton, NC, transitioned on December 30, 2018. At 0315 hours at Sentara Leigh Hospital at the tender age of 81 years old. She will sorely be missed by her husband, Sherman Askew; three children, Rosalind, Wayne and Mark, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Tonya; four grandchildren, Mark Jr., Ayana, Zuri and Sahirah; sister, Lucille Mims and two brothers, William and Richard Kearney.
