Ms. Elouise Brown Meekins, affectionally known as “Nana” stood at heavens doorway, and God opened his arms and said to her “Well done, thy good and faithful servant thou hast been faithful … I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. The Lord welcomed her home on the morning of January 14, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her adoring children Aubrey Meekins (Janet), John C. Meekins Jr. (Ernestine), LaTiese Bryant who preceded her in death, brothers Samuel Brown Jr. (Juanita ), Michael Murphy
(Stephanie), sister Michelle Murphy, special sisters Katherine Rodgers, Margie Caldwell, Jean Brown, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
