September 25, 2021 at 2:18 pmI’d just received a text from my family members on yesterday regarding Sister Moore’s passing. My eyes stung with tears but quickly, I smiled thinking that her soul and my mother’s soul will meet again, and they are joyful in the company of one another…once again. When my mother was in the hospital last year and the first part of this year, Sister Moore would call all the time wanting updates on how my mother was doing. She was such a big sister to my 95 year old mother. They loved each other dearly and were the best of friends. The Lord blessed her with 100 years and 10 months on this earth. She was always pleasant, proper, well-spoken, good-natured, caring, an all around good-hearted person. She had such a soothing voice. My husband and I told her how much we enjoyed talking to her and we loved her beautiful voice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sister Moore’s family during this painful time.
GOD BLESS HER SOUL. May she rest in peace.🙏🏽

September 27, 2021 at 5:07 pmMy heart is so broken. Mrs. Lacy-Guess-Moore lived across the street from my family’s home on Forbes St . She was such a wonderful and kind- hearted lady. She was the best bible study teacher in the world. I had so many wonderful memories of her teachings. The one that stands out the most is she was the one who led me to Christ. I can still remember one of my bible verses we had to learn, John 3-16. The Baker’s family will truly miss her. Gone but never forgotten!!!!. Our Angel !!!

September 28, 2021 at 12:13 pmSister Guess taught bible school at her home in Chesterfield Heights, we never missed a meeting. She taught us the books of the Bible , she made it a challenge , I was young but I learned the Old and New Testament , could say them and find them in the Bible . Sis Guess had some good gifts and the snacks were good also, lol.
Thank you for helping my spiritual knowledge .
To God Be The Glory!
