Edwina Diann Flowers was affectionately known as “Diane” was called upon by the Lord and entered eternal rest on March 07, 2024, at the Shell Rock Senior Living, Shell Rock, Iowa. Diann was born September 03, 1952, in Portsmouth, VA, daughter of the late Allie Mae Joyner-Craig.
She attended Norcom High School and graduated in the class of 1970. She was known by her friends and classmates for her stylish dressing. She was employed in various jobs, her most notable employment was John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her sister Melba Joyner Allen and Linda Joyner.
Diann leaves to be remembered and to cherish loving memories, her son, David Christopher (Yolanda) Grier, Aurora, Co; daughter, Fawn Inez Davis, Waterloo, Iowa; four sisters, her twin Alvina Cheran Frederick (Sylvester), Jamie Alteresa Craig, Chesapeake, VA, Dorita Gail Joyner-Epps, Kathy V Joyner and one brother, Jerome Craig, Portsmouth, VA; eight grandchildren, Iyanna, NaCya, NaRya, Ryder, Quincy of Aurora, Colorado, and Quinton, Amar’e, and Alijah of Waterloo, Iowa. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, and a special close friend Ricky Vaughn of Waterloo, Iowa.
