How do I say goodbye to my brother who treated me like a queen, loved me unconditionally. and his first words when greeted by him to me was hello my beautiful sister. Oh how it hurts, yet I’m told that I am supposed to be the strong one in the family. I’m so glad that I actually got to participate in your journey back to health. God has a purpose and a plan and He knew it was time for you to join him in your heavenly home. I am so grateful to God for the opportunity to have such an amazing brother who never stopped living life to the fullest and teaching and encouraging others that anything is possible. I realize that though you are absent in the body , you are present in the Lord. I love you my brother.
    Love you, Edwin Lee Roberts

To My Family, Praying for your strength and comfort to get your through….this difficult time.

Cuz, I miss you so much from checking on me while I am on my way to or getting off my job. You sent me a scripture along with words of wisdom at least two to three times a week. You made me laugh every time telling me on the end of a text or phone call “Be Good!”

Regardless of what you were doing or feeling: you always smile and have a positive word to say.

Your presence is missed by so many in your family but the love you gave to all of us will always be in our hearts.

      RIP Cousin
      Love you always and forever

To my eldest brother, I will always love you and you will always be a part of my heart. I am so glad I spent time with you every time I visited home in Virginia. Your humble spirit touch so many lives. You always wanted us to do our best and live our lives to the fullest each day. Your knowledge was overwhelming in knowing what God’s word said and in business and in medicine. Your love for your sisters and brothers and your children and grandchildren was well acknowledged. So my beloved brother, you can now rest in the safety of God’s arms. ❤🙏🙏🙏

We would first like to offer our deepest condolences to everyone that knew and loved Ed. This is a deep loss felt by all who had the honor of knowing him. Edwin Roberts, “Big Ed” was a hero to many, but also a cherished friend and traveling partner to us. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with as much bravery, strength and tenacity as he. To know his story makes you realize that nothing is impossible. With all the physical challenges he faced on a daily basis, Ed found a way to smile, be kind and loving to others. Get up everyday, make a difference, to laugh, have fun, and love life without complaint! Rest well in His loving arms my friend. You will remain in our hearts and be with us wherever we travel always!
    Much love and deep respect!
    Jeri and “Big Al” Alvin
