Edward Oneal Brooks, a Norfolk native, quietly departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2019. Edward was known for his infectious smile, laugh and dance moves. He was educated in the Norfolk Public school system. He married his junior high school sweetheart, Kathleen Brooks and they shared forty-seven years of marriage.

Known for his favorite line, “I’m Fine I’m Fine”, he was a true example of someone never complaining and fighting the good fight!
Edward was a member of New Macedonia Christian U.C.C. and served on the male Usher Board. He was a faithful member and supported all organizations in the church.
