Eddie Wilson Worrell, son of Arzula Naomi Worrell (mother) and deceased (father) William Arthur Worrell was born on December 14, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was known to everyone as “Mr. Ed.” Eddie graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1963, then enlisted into the U.S. Navy. After the military, Eddie dedicated his life and love for children to work at St. Mary’s for Disabled Children for over 15 years.
On August 16, 2020, after a short battle of Leukemia, Eddie answered God’s call and his natural life on his earth ended. Eddie is predeceased by one daughter, Cassandra Saunders. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Catherine Worrell; three daughters, Angela Borton, Deneen White and Chelsie Gordon-Gilliam of Virginia Beach, VA; five sons, Eddie Worrell, Jr., Brian Worrell, Darren Worrell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gregory Worrell of Richmond, VA and Steve Gordon of Norfolk, VA; two brothers, Arnold Worrell and Barry Worrell of Hampton, VA; only sister, Chelsie Morgan of Cincinnati, Ohio and a host of grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
