On Tuesday Oct 27, 2020 God needed Donta more than we did here on earth and called him home to eternal rest. Donta Antonio Jackson AKA “Tootie “ or “ Rudeboy” was born on March 1, 1989 in Norfolk, VA. He grew up in the Huntersville Neighborhood where he was well known for his vibrant personality and helping spirit. He was well respected for his humanitarian acts in the community, always wanting to give back to where he came from.
He was very well mannered, always respected his elders and would be there for any and everybody. Donta always lit up the room and wanted everyone to match that energy, he was simply a good time. God put Donta here to help and lead, and he did just that. May the work he’s done speak for itself.
Donta is survived by his Mother, Tashawna Jackson of Norfolk, VA; Father Andre Ray of Norfolk, VA; Daughter, Dontaijah Jackson of Norfolk, Virginia; Siblings Malik Jackson, Shaszmein Jackson, & Faith Jackson all of Norfolk, VA as well as his favorite cousins Renee, Jameel, Jasmine, Trinity and Micah, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends; all who loved him dearly.
Donta will truly be missed by each and everyone of us. We appreciate and thank you all for showing up and being here during this difficult time. May Donta watch over and protect all of us.
