May Dianne’s Family and Friends find comfort in knowing that she was truly a blessing to many. I am going to miss her even more, already I was missing hanging out with her once she moved back to her hometown. Now there are no more phone calls or her traveling back to this area. She always put forth all of herself in whatever she did. I pray that her family and friends keep those beautiful memories of that person who was a natural protector of all. Rest in Peace my friend….

I am so very saddened to hear of Dianne’s passing. I worked with her at DOE and at the National Archives from the mid-90s to 2004. She was a friend and wonderful coworker — often the calming voice of reason in a crazy bureaucracy. Without her, it would have been impossible to do our jobs. And she always had a smile and an optimistic outlook. Plus she delivered us Girl Scout cookies! A powerful personality in a small package; when Dianne spoke, we listened. My life is much the better for having known her. I send my heartfelt condolences to her family. Peace, Dianne.

    To the Mangum Family
May God continue to comfort your family during this difficult time. Dianne was such a sweet person and a joy to be around. She would always make sure to save me a seat in church (MT Sinai) during Sunday morning service. Glad I had a chance to have lunch with her before the move to Norfolk to be near family. She will truly be missed. RIP Dianne.

Dianne, I’ve been trying to find the words to tell the world of this beautiful person that I’ve known since my early twenties. You were always so kind thoughtful and really a friend. I’ll miss our annual Christmas card swooping (30yrs). Family you have my deepest sympathy but God needed her more.
Watch over US, you’re our angel now.

Dianne has always been the kind of person everyone should get to know during the course of their life. What a welcoming spirit she possessed — always encouraging, always leaving you with a sense of calmness, always engaging with others. She never lost sight of how she could be supportive – that’s what drove her. Dianne is already painstakingly missed and will always be fondly remembered.
My prayers are with all the Mangum family and the Class of “72.
