Dezjalei E. Mitchell

Dezjalei E Mitchell departed this life peacefully on August 19, 2024. She was born to Robert Mitchell and the late Emma Long, on  November 23, 1981, in Norfolk Va. Dezjalei loved to have a good time, she was the life of the party, she loved spending time with family and friends, cooking Sunday dinners for her family, and she loved to dress.

Dezjalei leaves to cherish her memory her Fabulous 5, Kenya  Mitchell (Jamal Keene), Tiffani Mitchell, Shadlay Russell, Zajshad  Russell, and Icis Russell. Five Grandchildren Zaikeen Mitchell,  Kaleijah Mitchell, Jy’mir Keene, Jaleiya Keene Jaubrie Keene, and extended daughters Takeya Davenport and Makayla Barrington. Fiancé James Gray. Three sisters Kesiha Belcher (Lamont Belcher), Regina Clark, and Resihae McNeil (Alvin McNeil), Three Uncles Troy Clark, Sherman Clark, and Charles Clark, 4 nieces, 3 nephews a few great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends.

Dezjalei was preceded in death by her mother Emma Long,  Grandmother Eloise Perry, Aunt Tanya Clark, and her Great-Aunt Portia.
