Miss Destiny Alesha Skeeter departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was born February 24, 1992. Destiny was a graduate of Lakeland High School and currently was furthering her education at Purdue Global University, pursuing her undergrad in psychology.   Destiny had a special passion for caring for others. She worked for the Chesapeake Public School System as a Special Education Teacher. Destiny was also a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Destiny was predeceased by her mother, Demetrius (Toni) Skeeter and her biological father Albert (Shorty) Myrick. Destiny leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Sincere Skeeter; her stepson, Kiyron Griffin; her brother, Travell Massenburg; her sisters, Almeka Parks, Shanees Ellis, and Tianna Massenburg and a host of other siblings; grandparents, Belinda Skeeter (Larry Archie); great grandmother, Mary Hankerson; dad, Travell Massenburg, Sr.; her loving boyfriend Juniko Santiago and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Destiny was loved by many and she will be greatly missed.

    Destiny was the sweetest and most respectful friend my daughter T’Shara had. I meet Destiny when she and my daughter were in middle school and they were still friends till the end, a 15yr friendship.She was and still is a part of your family. My condolences to Sincere and family. She will be missed.
