Denerold Jebree Boone

Denerold Jee’Bree Boone, affectionately known as “Duke” or “Boobadoo”, was the son of Robin Boone Cromwell and Alton
Generold Boone. Denerold was born on March 6, 1998 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. On Sunday, July 5, 2020 our son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend made a peaceful transition into eternal life.

Denerold completed most of his education in Portsmouth Public Schools. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where he loved his drafting design and culinary arts classes. After high school Denerold was employed by Southern Cross where he worked as a Gas Leak Survey Technician. Prior to his death he was employed by Brown and Sons Transport. At an early age Denerold was baptized at Faith Temple Apostolic Church. He enjoyed attending church with his Grandma Betty
and Granddaddy James.

Denerold had a welcoming smile and a huge personality. He loved people. He was full of life and very friendly. He was a free spirited person who loved to see the sun rise and set. He was a very giving young man who loved music, skateboarding, photography and playing video games for hours. He loved spending time in the country eating crabs and fishing with friends.
No words can describe how much Denerold will be missed.

He will live on in the hearts of his family through so many precious memories. He is survived by his mother, Robin Boone Cromwell; father, Alton Generold Boone; paternal great-grandmother Geneva Boone; paternal grandparents, James and Betty Weston; four brothers, Schuyler Brown (Kiara) of Naples, FL, Tyrell Brown of Columbia, SC, Delvon Boone of Portsmouth, VA, and Dominic Boone (Tineka) of Portsmouth, VA; one sister, Lauren Cromwell of Portsmouth, VA; four uncles, Bobby Boone (Gloria) of Chesapeake, VA, Michael Cromwell (Toysha) of Boston, MA, Bryant Cromwell (Prestina) of Chesnee, SC, and James Bush (Lil) of Columbia, SC; godparents, George and Connell Adams of Portsmouth, VA and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. His kind and loving spirit will remain with us. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Bush, and his maternal grandfather, James Edward Cromwell.
