Adrienne and Ava, you have my sincere condolences, and are in my prayers. Your mother was so sweet and kind to me. I looked forward to seeing her smiling face when she entered church for worship. I pray for your comfort and peace at such a time as this. God is a Comforter and He gives us Peace. Rest in Heavenly Peace Sister Cox.

Debra was not only a friend but a mentor to me. We worked together in summer programs for Norfolk Public Schools, we went to the Baptist Conventions together whenever they were held locally and she was instrumental in me joining the Fannie Cypress Missionary ministry when I first joined Second Calvary . She also peaked my interest in joining an international Bible study class of which I still participate. She was kind and funny and I truly missed her when she relocated. Peace and comfort to her loved ones. Rest in peace Debra.
