Deante J. Fields of Norfolk, VA, slipped from time into eternity on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Deante was affectionately known as “Dee” to those who knew and loved him.
Dee was born on March 21, 1994. He was educated in the Norfolk Public School System and the Norfolk Technical Center, Securing a Certificate in Electrical Work.
Dee graduated from Norview High School in 2013.
Dee loved life and lived by his own rules. Dee was an avid dresser, always sporting the latest fashions.
He loved football, hanging with his homeboys as he affectionately referred to them, but his number one priority was family first securing their well-being.
When reality finally set in, Dee secured a job at Piedmont Airlines, Inc. in 2018 and was currently employed with them until his passing.
Dee leaves behind his first love, his mother, Rose Fields, and his stepfather, Jimmie Whitehead. His beloved sisters Anita E. Britt and Sharon D. Fields. Also leaves behind two nieces, Stephanie T. Saunders and Layah Saunders, five nephews, Clayton Amaree Saunders, Dash Saunders, Gregory Fields, Elliott Fields, Zachary Fields, and a host of many other family and friends.
Dee was a loving, caring son, brother, Uncle, and friend. He surely will be missed by many.
