Darnell A. Dyson, 59, passed away peacefully May 15, 2018. He was a faithful member of Christ The Redeemer Transformation Center COGIC for seven years and served as a leader in the Music Department. He was due to be appointed to the Deacon’s Board in June 2018, because he consistently demonstrated the special character required of a Deacon. Darnell was a graduate from Norfolk State University and worked many years as a Chef doing what he loved. He had a gentle soul and a welcoming smile for all who encountered him. He also enjoyed jazz music, fishing and other team activities.
He is survived by his three sisters, Kathleen and Charlotte Dyson and Maria Holmes; two brothers Kenneth Jr and Dwight Dyson; uncle to many nieces, nephews, two godsons and numerous relatives and friends .

June 1, 2018 at 3:05 amMy deepest condolences goes out to the Dyson family. Please keep the memories of Darnell alive, this can ease your pain of sorrow.
The Bible speaks of a time when we will see our loved ones again; right here on a beautiful Paradise earth in perfect health and the prospect to live forever; ( John 5: 28 & 29 ; Isaiah 33: 24 & Psalms 37: 29).
I hope & pray that these Scriptures can bring you a measure of comfort until the fulfillment of them.
