Dail was born to the late Ernest L. Hinton, Sr. and Carrie Hinton. Sunrise: March 11, 1956, and Sunset: February 12, 2025, at 12:58 pm. God gave Dail her wings and took her home to be with him forever. Dail attended Norfolk Public Schools, where she graduated from Lake Taylor High School.
Dail was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church in Berkley sections of Norfolk, Virginia. Upon leaving there, she came to New Hope Congregational Christian Church in Norfolk, VA. Dail was a dedicated member until her death. Dail was a very active member in the church, she held numerous positions. She was the President of the Mass Choir, a member of the Usher Board, a member of Pastor Aid, and a member of Mass Choir. She loved attending bible study and Sunday school, and she loved working with Women of Destiny.
Dail was a certified childcare provider, which she did for many years. She was a Dietician at Old Dominion University until leaving to work for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she retired after a lengthy illness that forced her to come home. Dail was a caregiver for her long-time friend, Debbie Patterson, until her death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two siblings, Ernest L. Hinton, Jr. and Glenda Perkins; four nieces; two nephews; one great nephew; six great nieces and eleven great great nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
