Grief never ends, but it changes It’s a passage not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…It is the price of love.” Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
On Thursday, September 1, 2022, God called Cynthia A. Warren home to rest. Affectionately known as “Cindy.” She was born on April 27, 1958. She was educated in the Norfolk Public School system. She worked in the field of Environmental Services for over 20 years as a housekeeper for the community and various organizations. She was due to start a new position in the field of Environmental Services at Old Dominion University, on the day God called her home to rest. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends, and “listening to her music.” She made it her pleasure to help others in need. Cindy was very family oriented and no matter where she was, her spirit and her heart made others gravitate towards her. Cindy was “The life of the Party” and was known for having a heart of gold and showing everyone how to have a good time. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Lee and father William Sumblin Jr, She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Terry Wilson, nine children; five daughters: Tonya Warren, Tiffany Warren, Ashley Warren, Cynthia ”Tiny” Warren, and Alexis Warren; four sons; Tony Warren-Bey, Terrence Warren, Melvin Warren, and Dexter Warren; four sisters; Connie Warren, Angela Foreman, Sheila Fayton, Ellen Warren, all of Norfolk, VA., two brothers: Leroy Warren, Jr. and Larry Warren, all of Norfolk, VA, and one Aunt Stella Smith, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers, and friends.

September 13, 2022 at 1:11 pmHello and You will be missed. 2 Corinthians 6-10..
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7For we live by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
We Loved you for being Cindy..

September 16, 2022 at 1:56 pmCindy “Mama”:
You called me a “breath of fresh air” the first time we met and I have loved you ever since. You were always so kind and loving towards me and always treated me like family. I really appreciated that. I will never forget you and my dad fighting over my spaghetti and you and my mom turning up together at any given moment. I will miss your spirit, your love, your laugh, your humor, and just you being you no matter who was around. You were a real one. Rest in God’s arms Queen until the Lord allows us to meet again. Forever loved- Erica
