Truly miss my uncle, who I called Uncle Birdie. We were childhood friend. I always thought he would end up a fireman because he had a red fire truck growing up, he slept with it, woke up with it and took it to school with it and he always kept it in a shoe box. About a week before he passed I showed up in his room with a red fire truck in a shoe box and he looked up at me with that beautiful smile, little did I know it would be the last time I would get to be with my Uncle Birdie. But my joy of knowing he’s with GOD remind me, I’ll see him on the other side!!
