Consolacion “Conching” Bustamante, also known as our Nanay, passed away on March 5th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 2nd, 1929, to the late Esteban Escalderon and Inosencia Dogelio in Bicol, Philippines. In her 20’s she met our “Papa” Jaime Bustamante and married the love of her life. She spent her wonderful years spreading love and joy to everyone around her, especially those she held closest to her heart. Her favorite pastimes include Sewing, Crocheting, and playing her favorite card game, Solitaire.
In the 1990s, Nanay moved to America together with Papa, embarking on a new chapter while continuing to fill the lives of those around her with warmth and love. Nanay spent her remaining years with an unwavering heart, always a source of comfort to many. She was loving, caring, selfless, and a true beacon of strength to her family.
That is our NANAY! You will not be forgotten, forever cherished, forever loved, always.
