Clarice Jones

On October 4, 2024 God called Clarice from her Earthly home to reside in the Mansion that her Heavenly Father Prepared for her.

Clarice was born, December 30, 1947 in North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice Ramsey, Hernsey Jones and her grandparents who loved her unconditionally.

Clarice is a proud alumni of W.S. Creecy High School. She was known for her bright mind and dedication to education. Her pursuit of knowledge and excellence later found expression in her career, as she joined the Norfolk City School System, where she dedicated many years of service. Her colleagues will remember her as a nurturing and inspiring presence, always encouraging other to strive for their best.

Faith was an integral part of Clarice’s life guiding her through both the trials and triumphs she faced. Her commitment to her faith will be celebrated.

Clarice leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories. She is survived by her three sisters, Evelyn Osby (Reginald), Barbara McRae, Audrey Parker (Curtis) and our soul sister, Gloria Byrd and Godchild, Bralen. Clarice is also survived by her nephews; Kenyatta (Angela), Ronald, Marcus, Jamal (De’Alisa) and Kameron; nieces, Ka’lah, Kylen, Esperanza, Kinsley and Gabrielle and host of cousins and friends we have always supported each other with unconditional love.

Clarice will be remembered as a loving sister. Her warm smile, gentle spirit and steadfast faith will be in our hearts. As we hold onto our comforting thoughts that Clarice is now at peace. May your soul rest in Eternal Peace and your memories be a Blessing to All of Us.

    RIP my friend Clarice, you will be truly missed by all. It didn’t seem real when I heard of your passing. To the Family of Clarice it may seem hard now to understand why but rest assured Clarice is in a better place and looking down on each of you saying do not weep for me because we will be together one day.     The coworker, the business owner, the landlord…always the same!
    Serious about her business matters, compassionate towards her neighbor, a help to those in distress…always the same.

    It’s impossible to count the number of people whose lives were touched in a positive way by Clarice.
    God Blessed Clarice over and beyond and she graciously shared her Blessings with others.
    Rest in the Arms of God my friend.
