Clarence S. Hunt was born in Portsmouth, VA, on February 2, 2024, to Jerry Riddick and Hattie Kemp. He entered eternal rest on November 15, 2024.
Clarence, known as “Peter,” attended Portsmouth Public Schools, then went on to serve our country in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Clarence started his own construction company called “Hunts Builders and Associates.”
Clarence loved his Washington Commanders, but his greatest love was for his family: his children, grandchildren, and sisters. He attended quite a few Washington Commanders football games with his son Antonio, especially when they played against Antonio’s team, the San Diego Chargers. Every time they attended the Commanders against the Chargers, and the Commanders would lose.
Along with his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his daughter, Laila Mozzelle.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memory; his sons, Antonio Mozelle and Franchun Hunt; five grandchildren; sisters, Karen Jones, Mildred Wallace, and Felicia Riddick; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and close friend, Michael McCain.
Clarence “Peter” will truly be missed.
