Our hearts were deeply saddened on Sunday, June 30, 2019, when the chilly hands of death suddenly sealed the lips of our beloved son, brother, nephew, and friend, Clarence H. Elliot, III. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence H. Elliot, II and Lisa Elliot Wiggins.
Clarence joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He completed high school and later attended the Wards Corner Beauty Academy. He enjoyed creating gorgeous hairstyles and perfectly shaped eyebrows for his clients. He also worked in the retail industry. He was a kind, loving and understanding son, brother and friend, and was admired by all who knew him, including the many dogs that he loved and bred over the years. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lisa Elliot Wiggins and stepdad, Tracy Wiggins; two sisters, Capri Adams and Trenay Giddens; two brothers, Trevon Wiggins and Dominic Elliot; one aunt, Carol Mitchell; two maternal uncles, Randy and Donald Freeman, and a special friend, DeShawn Gatling. Also cherishing his memory are two
special aunts, Marian T. Reid and Alee Todd; godmother, Pamela Clark; and godsister, Ureka Nogales. He also leaves his paternal uncles: Steve, Rodney, and Shawn Elliot; and George, David and Mike Lassiter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Whether we knew him as Giovanni, Gio, Che’, or Clarence, he touched our hearts in one way or the other. May his precious, lovable soul rest in perfect peace. Thank God for blessing us with his life for 34 wonderful years!
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

July 9, 2019 at 2:04 pmClarence was truly one of a kind. I will forever miss that curious smile of his and that sweet laugh. We may not have talked as much as we used to but whenever we did it was like nothing ever happened. Such a blessing to have had my friend growing up. May everyone find peace in their memories as we celebrate his life.
