   Deacon Long, My family and I were saddened to read of the passing of your wife, Sister Christine Long. I have known Christine for many years and we always admired the calm dignity with which she carried herself as well as the intense and caring look in her eyes.
   I remember how much it meant to each of us when both you and Christine displayed such loving care with many visits and prayers during my illness. Then in 2014, with the passing of my sister, you continued to serve my family and I during her hospitalization and subsequent passing.
   There is little that can be said at a time like this; but, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
   Take heart in the celebration of a life well-lived and a person much-admired. God is with you and the family.
