Chester Morton, Jr. passed away in his home on December 16, 2022, in Norfolk, Virginia.   Chester was born on June 30, 1967, in Staten Island, New York to Ethel Morton and Chester Morton, Sr. (Deceased). He graduated from New Dorp High School in 1987. During his lifetime he worked in various positions. Just to list a few; he started out working for the Statue of Liberty (Cook), Mount Loretta (Group Counselor), Staten Island University Hospital (Maintenance Personnel), and Harbor Edge. Prior to his passing, his last job was working as a (Team Leader/HouseKeeping). He naturally displayed his wonderful talent as a DJ. While displaying his many talents.   Chester was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic and an avid servant in helping others in his free time. He was the family DJ known as DL Doocatree (DJDC) and never missed an opportunity to display his awesome talent to spread love through his music. He had a contagious smile and a heart of gold. He would often DJ for free whether it would be for the family as well as for friends. He loved the sport of Football and was a great fan of the Cowboys. His passion for this team was indescribable. He showed an unprecedented amount of love and respect for the team. It was the one sport that kept him in harmony with himself as he faced each day.   He loved his parents and his family with all his heart. After his heart surgery in 2016. It was the little things that meant so much to him. He woke up every morning gracefully, showing love for everyone on Facebook letting the world know how much he appreciated God, life, family, and friends. He was dedicated and optimistic about God’s plans for his time on Earth. As a born-again Christian, he remained prayerful and true to his faith in God throughout his life.   Those left to cherish his memories include his children: Jaquan, Jaciere, Janiyah, Javon, and Jamiell. Grandchildren: Jahzaire, Jaili, Antonio, Ayden, Jaiyanna, Aunjanae, Jaicion, and Amoura. Preceded in death by his parents: his sister, Veronica Watkins (Virginia Beach), Sharon Morton (Staten Island, New York), Brother-n-law, Timothy Watkins (Virginia Beach), and numerous  nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, all of whom he loved and deeply touched.
