Cheryl LaVonn Paige was born June 14, 1963 to Richard G.L. Paige, IV and Iris D. Paige. Cheryl, a native of Norfolk, VA, attended Norfolk Public Schools and was a 1981 graduate of Norview High School in Norfolk, VA. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

Cheryl was a beautiful, fun loving, strong woman of faith with much love for all her family and friends. She so enjoyed being in the midst  of her family. Cheryl did life with joy. She loved to laugh.

Cheryl had a special love for children. Her loving and caring nature drew them to her. She enjoyed in the food service industry for several restaurants including Darryl’s Restaurant and Golden Corral. She was a very good cook and her family looked forward to enjoying her sweet potato pies.

Cheryl was baptized into the Body of Christ at an early age and later baptized at New Hope Church of Deliverance in Norfolk, VA where she was a member.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Wynter Dawn Paige Alexander. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Richard and Iris Paige of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Sonja Paige Kirkwood, Sumerset, NJ; brother, Richard G.L. Paige V, Virginia Beach, VA; brother-in-law, Leonard Alexander, Maple Heights, OH; aunts, Gloria Bullock (Daniel), Suffolk, VA; Thaultra Paige Frazier, Norfolk, VA; nieces, Crystal and Starla Alexander, Maple Heights, OH; Yolanda Kirkwood, Somerset, NJ; Natara Alexander, Amir Alexander, Virginia Beach, VA; Roman Alexander Jones, Maple Heights, OH. She also leaves her special friend, William Jones, Chesapeake, VA, many cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cheryl loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Though all her life struggles she kept her faith in God and on May 14, 2018, He called her home to rest eternally with Him.
