GOD gave me the chance to get to know and admire Mother Charletta Thomas during the infancy of New Community Church. When I would attend the Sunday School most times she would teach a class with one of her sons on her lap. She always worked by her husband’s side. GOD saw fit to let them continue by each other’s side when they died within a month of each other. The Thomas family have great memories of this couple and their work for our GOD.

To the Thomas Family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and my dear friend. Mother Thomas’ Perspicacious Posture, and dignified graceful presence shall enter the annals of our memory. Let it be so noted that she served on the Bishop’s Wife’s Circle for the National Church of God in Christ for many years. She was so pleasantly kind, genuine and epitomized the essence of a graceful lady.
