Charles T. Baldwin, son of late Lenard Baldwin, Sr. and Rosa Lee Johnson, was born on April 17, 1944, in Fort Pierce, FL. He was the youngest of nine children. Charles was preceded in death by five siblings, Lucille Shepard, Lenard Baldwin, Jr., James Baldwin, Edyce Sanders, and Bernise Baldwin.
Charles graduated from Lincoln Park Academy. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army, where he spent four years serving our country. After leaving the military, Charles moved to Virginia, where he reunited and married his high school sweetheart—his devoted and loving wife, the late Doris Baldwin. Charles worked for US Gypsum as a Lab Technician, where he retired after over 30 years of employment.
Charles and Doris enjoyed worshipping with the New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Family and serving in any capacity needed.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Daryle, Shawn, and Shea (Livia); five grandchildren; Jordan Foreman, Truvell Smith, Destiny Baldwin, Noah Baldwin, and Kennedy Baldwin; two brothers; Leroy Baldwin and Verlin Baldwin; and a sister, Alvonia Davis; and plenty of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of friends.
