January 27, 2023 at 10:10 amI believe that when we lose someone close to us, like a father, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. Your dad lives on through you. Sending you love during this difficult time; though nothing I can say will take away the pain youβre experiencing. Just want you to know that I care about you, and I share in your sadness. My heart felt love to you, your Mother and your extended family. Toussaint Nesbitt and Family

January 31, 2023 at 8:06 amI served with Charles onboard USS OAKHILL (LSD-51). He made a very positive impression on my career. He was a great mentor, friend, and shipmate. Hopefully the family can take solace knowing Charles was well-respected and loved by the many sailors and marines he sailed with. God Bless “Fair winds and following seas”. We have the watch.
