I believe that when we lose someone close to us, like a father, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. Your dad lives on through you. Sending you love during this difficult time; though nothing I can say will take away the pain you’re experiencing. Just want you to know that I care about you, and I share in your sadness. My heart felt love to you, your Mother and your extended family. Toussaint Nesbitt and Family

I served with Charles onboard USS OAKHILL (LSD-51). He made a very positive impression on my career. He was a great mentor, friend, and shipmate. Hopefully the family can take solace knowing Charles was well-respected and loved by the many sailors and marines he sailed with. God Bless “Fair winds and following seas”. We have the watch.

MA1 Heath was a strong influence to me while I was on the USS GLOVER. Him and NC1 Young and other First Class Petty Officers. Sorry I’m just now knowing this. My condolences to the HEATH FAMILY.
