    Big Al,

I had the pleasure of knowing Al for many years as a Softball player in Virgiia Beach. Al was a great player, but even more, he was a great guy and and outstanding sportsman and gentleman. A true gentle giant of a man and an example to all.

Bless those fortunate enough to have shared in his life and sympathy to his family members.

To Al’s family and loved ones: Al made a huge impact on so
many lives. He was a private man but was always there to lend
an ear and offer a little advice. I loved his sense of humor and big
heart and will forever be thankful to have known him.
