Celestine E. Painter 65, passed away on February 10, 2021, she was born December 8, 1955 in Norfolk, VA to the late Leroy and Helen Painter. She worked for the U.S. Attorney’s office for 30 years.
She was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters, Darlene Lassiter and Helen Jackson; nephew, Barry L. Painter; and brother-in-law, Barry Willoughby.
Celestine leaves to cherish her memory, son, Reginald Painter (Rhonda); three grandchildren, Reginae, Reginald, Jr. and Deandre Keeling; two sisters, Evelyn Willoughby and Leona Thorne; one brother, Nathaniel Painter; one brother in law, Grady Lassiter, special niece, Angela Lassiter and a special nephew, Anthony Lassiter. Celestine also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of Nieces, Nephews and relatives and friends.
