    To the Holmes family. I remember Cecil coming over to my house to get his hair braided. Hanging out with my baby brother Craig Spruill. I looked at him as being an addition to the family because he hung over there so much. I’m was deeply sad to hear about his death.     I worked with Mr. Holmes at Newport News Shipyard. I saw him everyday at work and we’d chop it up. He was like my work Uncle. I’m just learning about his passing this morning and I am hurt and in disbelief. He was a good person and loved to joke around. He stayed telling us old stories about when he was younger and mischievous lol. He will be missed tremendously here at the shipyard! My condolences go out to all of his family and friends. Rejoice in heaven Mr. Holmes in your new body! 💐
