Catherine “Cathy” Lilloria Banks

Sunrise: January 1, 1956

Sunset: December 30, 2024

Catherine L. Banks, better known to friends and loved ones far and near as Cathy, departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2024. Cathy leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband, Mr. Ronnie Lee Haynes; two daughters, Gwendolyn Anderson (Keith) and Teakesha Kabani; a devoted son, Michael A. Sherriod; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cathy was always the life of the party and could light up any room! Her smile was infectious, and blood alone never made her family, she was beloved and cherished by many, as she never met a stranger. Cathy will be truly missed but will forever live in our hearts. She never said goodbye, just “later now.”

To the family, my heart ❤️ bleeds with every tear you shead.
My dearest friend, we’ve shared so much, the good, bad and the ugly 😂 ,yet our friendship only grew. You were always there when I needed an ear or a shoulder. You were my rock when I lost Major. Words can’t explain how I feel not being able to be there with you. It was out of My hands but in the hands of one who knew best. I’m going to miss that ” EVERYTHING’S ALRIGHT WITH THE WORLD ” smile. I know you’re going to carry that “HALLELUJAH ” spirit with you to heaven, save some of that spirit for me for when we meet again.
It’s been an honor to call you FRIEND.
