January 23, 2021 at 2:45 pmMum CG, you were one of a kind. Really and truly.
You were an excellent mother-in-law. Most men run away from theirs; I always looked forward to visiting with you. Aside of that, you were also a good friend. Right from the very day I met you, about two decades ago.
I cherish memories of family gatherings with you, our laughs, our deep, insightful conversations and your words of wisdom, some shaped by your life’s experiences; covering the valleys, the peaks … and all else in-between. Mum CG, you were simply an awesome human being.
I am so, so glad and truly honored to have been a part of your life. Even though you are now on the other side, you are very much alive in my heart and in my mind. I see you looking down on us, smiling. I hear your infectious laughter. I feel the warmth that always characterized your presence.
You have lived a life well lived. You deserve to rest in peace. You do just that, Mum, till we meet again. Infinite blessings to you.
I share sincere condolences with all family, friends and sympathizers. Let us give thanks that we met her. Our lives are definitely brighter for that, in some way, shape or form.
Love,
Sam.
