I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also!

Brian Anthony Edwards departed this life Thursday, July 1, 2021 after a short illness.  Brian attended Northampton County High School, in Conway North Carolina and graduated in 1975.

He was born and raised in Woodland, North Carolina.  He resided in Virginia Beach, VA with his wife Carolyn Edwards.  He was employed many years as a “Meat Cutter” at Food Lion, and at Safeway in Maryland Wal-Mart in Newport News.  Brian attended Enoch Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA Brian loved the Lord and he knew who he was to him in his Life.  Brian really loved his family and people and he would do anything for anybody that he came in contact with.  He loved sports and his “Pittsburg Steelers” that was his team.

Brain was a loving Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle.  He was preceded in death by his son, Little Brian; mother, Maggie Cleo Edwards; Father, Hubert Edwards, Sr.; two brothers, Hubert Edwards, Jr., and Bernard Edwards; sister, Barbara McGlohone Edwards.

Brain precious memories will always linger in the heart of his loving devoted wife, Carolyn Edwards; two step-children, Norris Maurice Babb (Fonita), and Thalia Thrope (Lesley); two Step-Granddaughters, Tarrica Artybridge and Destiny Babb; Step-Grandson,  Gary Artybridge (Monique); Step-Great Grandson, Justice Artybridge; three sisters, Diane Hughes (Avery), Sondra Denise Edwards (Alexandria), and Regina Rainey (Mark); four brothers, Melvin Edwards, Josenathan Edwards (Rodelle), Charles Edwards, Tony Edwards (Arlene), sister-in-law, Jackie George (Kevin), a very special friend Mark Bullock and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
